New Paul Stanley Artwork To Be Unveiled At Wentworth Gallery

Wentworth Gallery will be presenting a collection of paintings from Paul Stanley, the co-founder and frontman of the legendary rock band KISS.

The colorful works from “The Black Series,” which was commissioned in 2020, will be exhibited in December, January, and February. The Black Series utilizes black canvases as the offset for the art works that end in vibrant, bright colors.

The legendary musician will make his appearance at the launch event at Wentworth Gallery at The Mall at Short Hills on December 17 between 5 and 8 pm; at the Florida locations of Wentworth Galleries weekend of January 28; and the Washington, D.C. area of Wentworth Galleries weekend of February 18.

Christian O’Mahony, principal at Wentworth Gallery, reportedly said, “Paul’s artwork really connects with people. In particular, his unique use of colors elicits strong emotions. It is extremely rare to sell an entire gallery of art during a show, but Paul does it regularly. He has become an art phenom.”

Stanley, who is also a rhythm guitarist, has been selling his abstract paintings at the Wentworth Gallery for many years.

It was in 2005 that a friend in Hawaii persuaded him to put on a gallery show. It needs a special mention that the iconic KISS logo, one of the influential rock band logos, was created by Stanley, along with Ace Frehley.
