Foo Fighters Cancel Upcoming Tour Dates After Death Of Taylor Hawkins

Foo Fighters have canceled all upcoming tour dates in the wake of drummer Taylor Hawkins‘ death.

“It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins,” the band announced in a statement.

“We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned,” they added. “Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together. With Love, Foo Fighters.”

Hawkins died in Bogotá, Colombia, ahead of the band’s scheduled performance at Festival Estéreo Picnic. The drummer’s last show with Foo Fighters took place on March 20 at Lollapalooza Argentina in Buenos Aires.

While no cause of death has been announced, local medical authorities reported that Hawkins had multiple drugs in his system and an enlarged heart.
