Pearl Jam have announced the release Gigaton (Tour Edition) on Friday, July 8.
The record will feature 11 live performances recorded during the band’s tour in 2021 along with the band’s 11th full-length album Gigaton, originally released in 2020.
The Tour Edition will be available on all DSPs and as in limited-edition LP/CD combo only in independent record stores across the country.
Gigaton was released on March 27, 2020. It was the band’s first studio album in seven years. The album peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart and also topped the Top Alternative Albums, Top Hard Rock Albums and Top Rock Albums charts.
The Tour Edition will feature energetic and emotionally charged renditions of “Dance Of The Clairvoyants,” “Superblood Wolfmoon,” “Retrograde,” and more.
Meanwhile, after completing the first leg of The Gigaton Tour earloer this year, the band are set to tour North America this fall after their summer dates in Europe during June and July.
