Weezer released an uplifting new single called “A Little Bit of Love” a few days ahead of the release of SZNZ: Spring, which arrived on Sunday (March 20).
“A little bit, a little bit of love / Goes a pretty long way / Take a look at where you started from / And where you are today / You climbed mountains, swam oceans / You got knocked down, and kept going / In the end you know you’ve got to say / A little bit of love goes a pretty long way,” Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo sings.
Cuomo then sings about rising above adversity and spreading joy to all those who are around.
SZNZ: Spring, which arrived on the Spring equinox, is the first of four EPs from Weezer this year. Each release is inspired by the seasons, meaning the following EPs will be Summer, Autumn and Winter.
“This year we’re releasing four EPs inspired by magic, Pagan myths, religious rituals, Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, Shakespeare and more (so much more),” the band tweeted when announcing the project, promising that each EP “will take you on an enchanting journey.”
